I really need fields more along the lines of:
First (Given) Name:
Last (Family) Name:
Preferred First Name:
Preferred Last Name: [This one's really just for Isildur.]
Colloquial form of first name: [as distinct from:]
Nickname:
I-call-them: [For relatives, generally... my aunt, for example, would hate to be listed in my address book as anything other than "Auntie". And heaven forbid I list my mother other than under "Mom"...]
And instead of being able to choose between "Last First" and "First Last", it would be nice to have a printf-like format syntax for displayed name, so I could do things like "%nickname" or "%colloq %lastname".
And while I'm at it, the handling of custom field labels seems to be a bit broken. And I'd like to be able to add new fields. And I'd like what groups a card is in to be shown somewhere on the card (or at least have a "Category" field.)
That is all.
