I will be in the San Francisco Bay area from July 12 to July 19. I'll be staying in the Mountain View area, and looking for housing around there, for August (ideally) or September (less ideally) move-in. All these places have some kind of dress code, I would think? I wore a suit to LF, but I think you can get away w/o a jacket.

What does Quince (which I have wanted to go to) require?

I think most places would prefer a jacket, but being SF people are pretty lax about all this. I think as long as you wear good jeans and not-a-t-shirt you are probably good just about anywhere here.
